Abstract

PassKeeper is a desktop-based password management system developed using PyQt5 and SQLite to securely store and manage user credentials. The application provides encrypted storage for passwords, usernames, and other sensitive information. With a user-friendly graphical interface, it ensures secure authentication and organized data management. The system enhances cybersecurity by reducing the risks associated with weak passwords, password reuse, and unsecured storage methods.

Existing System

1. Manual storage of passwords in notebooks

3. Browser-based password saving without extra encryption control
4. Using the same password across multiple platforms

Limitations:

1. High risk of data theft
2. No strong encryption
3. Easy unauthorized access

Proposed System
